Calcium and vitamin D support bone mineral density, magnesium supports bone strength and remodeling, boron promotes calcium and magnesium balance, Vitamin K activates proteins used in bone metabolism, and silicon helps regulate calcium deposition in bone and form collagen. While most forms of silicon are very poorly absorbed, orthosilicic acid is a soluble, readily absorbed and active source. When combined with the average amounts of calcium and magnesium in the diet, two tablets of OsteoThera™ taken twice daily with MultiThera™ multiple vitamin/mineral supplement raises calcium and magnesium in a balanced manner to bring total amounts to recommended levels.
